“Nobody sees a flower - really - it is so small it takes time
- we haven't time - and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time.”

The recent London weather, which has
oscillated between spring and winter, has had many a person moaning and sent
running for warmth and cover. However, I feel it has definitely warmed up which
means despite spring being underplayed summer is starting to make an appearance.
Hurrah! Yes, one must always be optimistic about these things!
A
particularly encouraging trend is all the lovely bright spring colours and
prints that are cropping up everywhere. How are you getting inspired for your
spring/summer wardrobe?

The SS 2013 season is taking a different
direction in the use of floral textile: watercolour painted florals and sheer
fabrics are crucial, playing with blurring and abstract prints for delicacy.
Sheer florals over plaids match each other
exquisitely.
Floral prints and motifs with bows, ruffles,
laces and embroideries in various fabrics have been used to great effect by
many fashion RTW designers and couturiers to implement delicate femininity.
