Blogger Style Challenge: Stephi La Reine with the Amelia Backpack

We love blogger Stephi La Reine’s style, so we decided to challenge her to a week of Nica styling! She opted for our beautiful Amelia backpack in bright blue, and treated us to some great outfit inspiration. Let us run you through a few of our favourites.

Look one is perfect for the chilly weather, as she teams our backpack with a trendy fur coat in blush. The candy pink hue strikes a great contrast against the bag’s bold blue tone. She infuses the outfit with a relaxed vibe by finishing with a pair of jeans and a statement tee. 

Our next favourite look was one that Stephi refers to as her lazy look. We wish our lazy outfits had so much style! She teams a pair of ripped jeans with a loose tee and an oversized cardi. It’s effortlessly thrown together and she describes it as perfect for strolling around the house in.

Her next outfit creates a statement with her patterned trousers yet infuses a bit of edge thanks to her shearling leather jacket. Finishing her look with a pair of cool brogues and of course our trendy Amelia backpack, it’s one casual cool ensemble that’s perfect for the weekend.  

The backpack is still a massive trend for the season ahead, and the Amelia even doubles up as a cool grab thanks to its handy top handle. The most difficult choice is deciding which colour to opt for as it’s available in classic black, tan or fashion forward blue.

How To Style the Pheobe Crossbody with Burkatron

This week, we gave the lovely Burkatron blog the task of reviewing our fun Pheobe crossbody bag, which she took along with her upon her recent trip to Ireland. 

Burkatron explains that she doesn't normally opt for a small bag but loved the Pheobe so much that she couldn't resist! She soon discovered however, that it’s a great size for fitting in all of her bits and bobs, as she managed to carry her phone, assorted make up, purse, glasses, passport, car keys, and sweets. See! We told you that it was deceptively big.

Blogger Lets Strike A Pose Creates Nica Nail Art

We love seeing how some of our favourite bloggers are styling our latest beautiful #NicaHandbags, and when the fabulous Lets Strike A Pose blog offered to transform Nica’s unique pink tulip watercolour print in the form of nail art, we were beyond excited to see the results!

Using her bag as a guide, several nail varnishes, and a few brushes, she makes re-creating our print upon the nails look like a complete doddle! Check out her video below.

1) What is your perfect bag?

I always opt for a really big bag that’s capable of carrying all of my bits and bobs… And my gym kit!

2)  Which styles will you be wearing this spring and summer? 

I don’t really follow trends, and my look is often more inspired by people that I see upon the street. At the minute, I really love denim, so, that’s probably something that I’ll continue to wear throughout spring and summer. 

3) What are you most looking forward to with Nica this year?

For AW14, NICA is taking an exciting new turn, and we’re changing the feel of the brand, which I’m really excited about. The designs have perhaps more of a grown up feel about them, and each piece aims to tell a story. I can’t wait to see everybody’s’ reactions!

We’re used to seeing our favourite bloggers reviewing our beautiful bags but it’s not that often that we come across a blogger who wants to review one of our purses instead. So, we were super excited when the lovely Sweet Monday blog asked to review our charming Missy dropdown purse!

Firstly, we absolutely loved how our tan purse sat alongside her lovely outfit, - it was a match made in heaven with her leopard print dress! She explained that she always opts for a large purse, and that Missy fits the bill perfectly as there’s ‘plenty of room for coins and cards inside’.
